Been really digging Francis Hylton's tone/work of late..From what I gather he records with 70's jazz basses and performs with the same and Atelier Z...anyone know what amp or effects he uses? I have seen him on live videos with ampeg stuff..

I assume he played on the song "don't turn my love away" from the album adventures in black sunshine..that tune has a good funk riff and a nice run...check it out: Great tone and technique:

Hi,

Julian Crampton plays on most of 'Adventures' and on the track you mention. Francis is a nice player though. I think like most of the Incognito bassists he has an affinity with jazz basses although I know he also plays a Yamaha Trb 5.

Cheers,

Mark.
