BUT, how about hooking up with bassists around the globe to collaborate on recordings?
Why not utilize available technology like fiber optics to jam in real time with someone half a world away, or swap digital files via high speed internet?
Who knows, maybe this could be a forum for finding bassists with like interests and abilities to compose, arrange, and lay down some killer tracks.
Personally, I'd love to do an all bass experimental album with anyone willing to participate.
