They were the most powerful band the kids in my neighborhood had ever seen. I find it amazing that they are still knockin' them out. When I was younger, I always saw 50 year olds as old mo' fo's but these guys give me inspiration to keep on kicking some ass. I'm 39 as as soon as I drop 40 pounds off of my fat ass, I'll feel like I'm 25 again. Stay active.

I'll be buying this the day it's released. I hope they don't start to sound tired though.
Graeme
P.S. Those are some lame song titles. I hope for the best...

Still, if they think it went well, then it might be good. |

Maybe they are poking fun at the attitude some of us have about fighting overseas. Maybe they are saying something really intelligent, just like Maiden always does. Or maybe its a history lesson. We all know Maiden is capable of teaching us a thing or two about history. Maybe its an adaptation of a book. Thats very possible given the history of Maiden songs.

Besides Steve, you know what's great about Maiden? Average song length on the new album is over 7 minutes! I just love that!
And I agree with SlavaF: the song titles are awesome! Typical "epic-yet-campy" Maiden titles. I'm DYING to hear it!

goddamn!
back on topic... I love all their long songs too, Maiden's average song lengths have been gradually increasing from album to album, which is always a good thing
their longer songs are usually my favorites on the album, Dance of Death and Paschendale being my favs from DOD. This should be a damn fine CD! |

I'm thinking NO!! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
