Can someone tell me how the bass sound was created (amp??effects??) for this track. It sounds almost creaky if that makes sense??

Obviously a 5 string and obviously some distortion on there too!!

Can someone elighten me as I'm learning it for my covers band

It's a talk box. I'm not sure that the bass is making that sound though.

Yeah, talk box, but its not the bass, I dont think.

Cheers guys - of course the guitar has a talk box on it but I am talking about the bass - the bass sounds really scratchy
