...Oceans Eleven.....

Listen to the DB playing in the movie soundtrack.

It is some of the coolest upright bass I've ever heard. EVER.

The Big Lebowski
does the south park soundtrack count? (kevin and mephisto!)
or how about the beavis and butthead experience (it's got megadeth, anthrax, and more primus!)

DOH! I gotcha on this one, Ed!
Unless I'm way off(possible)...Miles used a 4-tet for this-
Klook on cans + 2 Frenchmen(Pierre Michelot on bass + a pianist whose name I can't remember).
In other words, no MD Quintet(unless you have some rare boot!).

Nevertheless, I still need this album & NAKED LUNCH!

-The Crow has an excellent soundtrack.
-The Whiz. C'mon, Anthony Jackson goes to TOWN on this one. Movie wasn't too hip, but the music was.
-Oceans 11 did indeed have some fine DB work.
-Run Lola Run. Guys, where were you on this one? Rock.
-Office Space, indeed. Great movie.

There have been others, but none are coming at the moment...and someone'll bring up something I'll be embarrassed to have forgotten, I just know it.

I think "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction" are the only soundtracks I ever bothered to buy. Great stuff, and it's hilarious how Tarantino uses some of the songs in such seemingly inappropriate ways...
