Jaco + Birell

I know it's stereotypical for a bassist to like Jaco.. but I really do. I think it's because my first instructor is a friend of the Pastorius family and I've met all of them and still keep in contact with them so that is what I was exposed to. But I'm working on acquiring the entire Jaco Pastorius catalog.
The greatest source is out of Germany

I just picked up that album. I paid something like $16 shipped (2 cds) and I'm telling you I would have paid $60 for it EASILY... It is my first taste of Birell Lagrene.. but he is equal to Jaco on the guitar. What Jaco is on the bass Birell is on the guitar. If you like jazz; please do yourself a favor and buy this cd. If you don't like it I will be so damn surprised.
