Jaco and Brian Mellville standards

Listening to the wonderful walking lines and solos that Jaco Pastorius plays on Brian Melvin Trio's Standards Zone. I am wondering if there are other electric bass examples of folks playing standards (such as real book versions) that folks would recommend for transcriptions.

I am getting back into bass after a few decades and have been listening and transcribing relatively simple walking lines such as portions of Sam Jones version of Autumn Leaves and Percy Heath on Miles walkin'.

Could the talkbass community make some suggestions on good 'electric' walking bass lines that are solid and worth a listen.

Jimmy haslip has a seriers of books on standards that come with a CD. They are great!

Here's the complete version of "Out Of
The Night" from the same album( Jaco's
solo was edited on "Jaco Pastorius - The
Punk Jazz Anthology"). Jaco's solo on this
tune is in my opinion one of his best ever.
