I normally like stuff that's totally NOT like The Jam, but I've been playing their CD, "The Jam Greatest Hits" all week now. I've had this CD since '94 and I think that was about the last time before this week that I listened to it, front to back. I'd been meaning to give it away for some time. For some reason, I pulled it out just to give it a go again, just to listen to something different. Not bad at all. It hits my mood. I don't know why.
Anyways, I think it's a keeper now. I cringe a little bit on "Start!" which seems to be a blatent rip off (or tribute???) to The Beatles, "Taxman," but other than that, the music is "doing it" for me.
I don't know why I posted this other than the possibility that someone might be able to relate, to "redicovering" this band in particular. Or others...
