Shawn Calloway is a student of Maurice Fitzgerald and is a friend of Sharay Reed. He is also a very nice and humble young man. I sold him my Kingston at a loss because he is so doggone good! If figured that a young man with his gifts could get way more out of that bass than I ever could!
That was filmed at the GC in Bridgeton, MO. It is a nice place but I don't get over there as much now that there is a GC on the Illinois side of the river. James Ross is a great Wooten style player himself. He dogs me for being old fashioned and not knowing enough new songs.
