Jazz funk quartet tune (live in rehearsal)

Hey - sorry for posting another tune - but I just wanted to share this - I love my jazz quartet Big Fan - see www.bigfan.info - they really rock and we're only just starting out. This is a tune I wrote and I hope we can record a new version of it soon. This is a little bit rough and ready but I'm playing my fretless 5 through some random amp at a rehearsal room in London - there's a funny bit where the guitarist rages about his amp half way through his solo, but it sounds pretty cool all the same - I hope you dig the vibe - the sax player Miguel Ramon lays down a great solo:

Link works for me... downloading right now, and I can't wait to hear it!

EDIT: And just as I suspected, it sounds fantastic!!

Thanks Geoff - we're doing our last session with the sax player this Tuesday then we'll hopefully be getting a new trumpeter to replace him - hopefully the quality will be slightly better on the next recording. And the link works fine by the way.

Cheers

Those sample tracks are seriously great; I might think about picking up your EP actually!

Nice.

Absolutely - and that's not Christian at his best - we met at a jam session and played a very fast version of 'What Is This Thing Called Love?' and we both impressed each other! Hence we have started this group - it's great and the crowds who we've played to have all given us a great reception - I love playing with them.

i dig the tune man. sounds good. nice bass playing, you give it a lot of space, it helps it to funk and breath more. Great sax work too. keep it up bro!
