Jeff Berlin's newest CD "Aneurythms" knocked me out since the first time I heard it. Here's a review.

I like Taking Notes a little more than Aneurythms. Still great stuff though.

Taking Notes has just arrived now. It has some really great stuff on it, Tears In Heaven is incredible as to be expected, and some of the runs that jeff does in "Stung, McCartney'd and Bruced" are just frightening! The cover of Imagine didn't really blow me away though, and Pump It and Bill Bruford's "One of a kind" are still my favourite Berlin records. However, it is a very cool album, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the tone of his Peavey Palaedium bass!

I looked for this new CD at Amazon and the only one listed is the import "Ace of Bass". Where can I get the U.S. release ?

Does anybody have that one? It's not on ITunes (the others all are). I heard some of it on Amazon and would like to get it.

I've heard that you can buy all 3 Jeff Berlin albums from CD Baby in a couple of weeks, but not now.
The best way now is to order the album via his own website, and here's the link to the order page.

Jeffs latest albums are definetly better than the 80's ones, I think In Harmonys Way is my favorite (I haven't heard the latest) but man....

I just have to say that I do tire of hearing people dogging the man. He is a MONSTER player and TEACHER. Metronome or not. He's also damn funny!!!
