Jeff Kollman...

I searched for his name here and came up empty.

Some of you fusion/funk/shred dudes might like this guy, he is very.. uhh... well.. let's just say the boy has some rude chops. If Vai and Satriani are watching this guy, he might be worth a look. A drummer I know gave me the Shedding Skin and Squadrophenia CD's to check out. Wow. Not everything to everyone for sure, but worth a listen or two.

Go to the downloads for the Shedding Skin CD and listen to 'Fat Mean & Nasty',

Tasty.

Ok, one last time. I've been digging this for many weeks now. Anybody check this guy out? His recording reveal some downright vicious chops, and some cool ideas and meters.

Ok, hover's thread on how not to promote your music store prompted me to bump this. TL5's youtube link pushed me to post one of Jeff's, and I looked up this old thread of mine as a consequence. I see no one has ever posted other than me, and I think it nearly impossible that no one digs this or hasn't heard of this guy.

So, anybody a fan?

Yeah, I dig Jeff K!
I particularly enjoy the first Cosmosquad record
and his work with the Bombastic Meatbats.
Nice guy, hell of a guitarist.

Finally, a voice from the wilderness!

So, you know him? Way cool!

I have just the two CD's, but some random downloads too. The boy is a beast and plays with some great drummers/bassists. That Shane G. dude is unreal.
