My main influences for Jazz bass tone are Larry Graham, Marcus Miller, and Jaco Pastorius, but man, I love the Jerry Jemmott sounds!

Jerry is excellent! One of my favorite recordings of his is on the studio version of B.B. King "Why I Sing The Blues". This is the song that introduced me to Jerry's superb bass playing. He's play a mean J-bass on this one.
