Jimmy Johnson / Chris Squire transcriptions...

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all,

For anyone who's interested, I recently uploaded transcriptions of Jimmy Johnson's playing on Allan Holdsworth's "Panic Station," as well as a couple of tracks featuring Chris Squire ("Going For The One" and "Parallels").

I'm amazed that the Web isn't awash with transcriptions of these guys already - Jimmy and Chris are two the finest bassists ever to move air!

The files can be found at:

http://www.stevieglasgow.com/transcriptions_e.html

Hope they prove useful to someone...

Cheers,

Stevie

p.s. Wasn't sure whether to post this in the Tab forum as the transcriptions are standard notation (though I did quickly tab out the Chris Squire tracks...)

I came across your transcriptions page via another link around TB -- probably in the Anthony Jackson thread -- and I was really happy to see those Squire transcriptions. Great job too, these seem much more thorough & accurate than some of the other Chris Squire transcriptions I've found on the internet. Thanks!

Lionel Gibaudan and Miguel Falcão have some transcriptions like "Heart Of The Sunrise" & "Siberian Khatru" on their site. Lukas Pickford also has "Heart Of The Sunrise".
