I thought I'd spread some xmas Cheer, enjoy!

Of course this is a bass forum so if you're interested, I'm using a Modulus Fretless 5 and a Fender Custom Shop Jazz 5 through a Little Labs Red Eye and Straight into an ElevenRack to Protools. Not much thought or effort, just enjoying the season on my Birthday.

Very cool. But honestly, I think a fretted would have worked better. That's a bit too much vibrato for that type of melody IMO. But clever arrangement and good playing.

Thanks! Its my first time picking up a fretless. 'tis FUN! I borrowed one from a friend and decided to just give this a try....so I'm still going through the whole "look what this thing can do" phase. Along with overplaying EVERYTHING! (which I typically do not).

Man, I was loving it, until the distortion part!

Overall, nice job!

haha...The tounge in cheek distortion part was directed at the buddy from whom I borrowed the bass. He's a die hard metal head and an incredible death metal bassist.... I on the other hand, am not, so playing a xmas jingle on his bass deserved some sort of homage to him. Glad you liked the rest of it though! Thanks and Merry Christmas!
