I don't know where to post this inquiry, this is my best guess for most appropriate forum. I found the chords to this song, but they seem wrong, I can't figure them out. To those who know the song, is this the chord progression?
Main riff/verses:
G/F E/D/G/F
pre-chrous
C/G E/B F/C/G
Chorus
G/A Bb/C
This is the online consensus, but it sounds wrong to me. |

I may have to dig out the CD to give it a whirl.
Just finished reading his autobiography, great read.

Absolutely + 1000000
One of my all-time favourite artists. Graham Maby is an awesome playa.
Check out the sound on the Body & Soul album. It was recorded completely analogue in an old church and the sound is just amazing. Way better than anything digital processing can produce, even today. The bass tone on "You Can't Get What You Want" is probably one of my favourite tones ever.
Joe Jackson has always walked his own path, never been hindered by the hit machine, yet always produces interesting, catchy and meaningful music.

When I first played it there was a link to "Is she really going out with him" looked like the same concert. Went back and it's gone. I'll have to do some hunting.

The levels of wrongness in this statement are downright hilarious. "Body and Soul" was recorded in a hall that was typically used for large scale classical music recordings, not a church. It was one of the relatively early digital recordings, the original CD proudly has "DDD" emblazen on it.
It does sound amazing, though. According to the Wiki on JJ, Quote: |
Though the album was a modest commercial success, it is widely regarded among audiophiles as a digital recording of the highest quality.
| "Be My Number Two" is an amazing song.
