Wow! Just downloaded this album from emusic.com after being intrigued by the description in Bass Player magazine's BP Recommends section. So far it's nothing short of phenomenal if you like experimental improv type stuff. If you were a fan of Jon Hassell's album "City: Works of Fiction" then you should definitely check this out. It's very different from that album but I think it would appeal to the same taste. It's more bass-oriented though of course since it's a bass-fronted album.

bass - John Carey
guitar - Oz Noy
Cello and piano - Dave Eggar
Drums - Frank Bellucci

Also, fans of the improv-y moments of King Crimson's "Heavy ConstruKction" and that era of KC might enjoy this too.

After I listened to the rest of the album I'd say that the last song reminded me a bit of something Kronos Quartet might do with a bit of demented Mike Pattonish vocal-y stuff mixed in. Wasn't my favorite track but the rest of the album makes up for it. Great album.
