Hello everyone. I am playing bass for 2 years now and this is my 2nd recording which i tried to play Solar groove that Myung plays it with his 6 string bass. I have a few explanation in the page that I think it would be useful for the ones who want to play it in the way that I did. Sorry for the few mistakes, but it was challenging to record it by microphoning my 30W amplifier (i have issues with my sound system, i cant hear myself from the speakers) without any effects or equalizing. The equipments I used in this video are:

Yamaha RBX 170 Bass
Randall RB30XM Amp
Shure C606 Dynamic cardioid mic

I hope you enjoy it and do not hesitate to write your opinions.

Awesome job!

Very few misses! I've always loved that groove, but I play strictly 4 string, so I would LOVE to know how you did it!

Thanks. There are few explanations at the right hand side of the video telling how I played the parts of the song that could be difficult to play with a 4 string bass (e.g. the harmonics). I would be pleased to tell again if there's still something missing.
