Just bust The Ramones

As I was commuting home today, found some old Ramones cds in the little glove compartment. Popped it in and forgot how much I use to love these guys growing up. I realized, they were actually very good song writers. Nothing flashy, but simple easy to get into, lyrics seemed to connect with me, and just some so familiar about it. Just forgot how much fun these guys were.

Absolutely!..... Big +1

The Ramones are one of my long time personal favorites.

Nothing fancy, hard drivin', short & sweet.

Nobody can do that like The Ramones.

I haven't listened to them in a long while... I might have to dust those off & give em a spin...

I saw the Ramones in 81. Great show...unbridled intensity for 90 minutes. For some reason, though, Johnny kept giving me dirty looks. Couldn't figure that one out until I found out he was a bit of an a-hole for no reason. I still liked them, though.

I miss them big time. I saw one of their shows and had serious hearing loss for almost 3 days.

For those who haven't seen it, the documentary "End of the Century" is awesome and insightful and definitely brings back memories.

Can't forget Rock 'n' Roll High School either! Great soundtrack!!

This film opened for "The Kids Are Alright".
Saw it at a drive-in which, IMO, is the only way to see these two movies! Good times!!

gabba gabba hey

I love the Ramones. My favorite. On my iPod, I have more of them than any other band. Like 120 songs...
