Just finished building a bass, want to hear it?

This is my latest build and I thought you guys might like to check out my demo video. Sound is from a condenser mic on the camera and is picking up the sound of the bass from the amp. As close as the mic is you can hear some acoustic string noise as well. My amp is an Alembic F-1X preamp, a QSC PLX 1202 and an Epifani UL 310 series 2.

The sound is as gorgeous as the bass - nice job!! Too bad the back is hidden most of the time, tho.

The fingerboard has a polished superglue coating that strongly resists wear. It also adds that "slipperyness" that I love on a fretless.

Nice work dude! An accomplishment of passion no doubt. You should post pics in the "prettiest bass on TB" threads

You built that?

I carved a balsa-wood bird once in cub scouts, never did make it to boy scouts.

That's an outstanding job!

Even though I'm more fond of a traditional look/ bass design, I must say, this bass is simply BEAUTIFUL!

It's not my cup of tea but I can certainly recognize the beautiful workmanship. I wish I had a fraction of your talent. The rear view was stunning!
