Just finished a demo (folk rock content)

My band just finished a demo at a local studio here in central Virginia. I've posted the songs to MySpace and want to hear what others think of it. The goal is just to have something to give to bar owners to get gigs.

We did all of these in first or second takes. On one song I think we did three takes.

well since no one has commented I'll chime in

if thats your goal, a demo for bar owners, you're in the door, I would write some originals around your vocalists range, form fitting to covers only gets you so far

the bass on wild night is the stand out, probably the best groove of all the tunes and it was the bass doing it

Three of those tunes are originals and three are covers. Our cover/original mix live is about 40% covers and 60% (or more) original. Did you think all six of these were covers? Or are you suggesting we should have put more originals on the demo?
