| Just picked up the new Journey with Arnel wow bad

After seeing the youtube videos a year or so ago I finally got around to pick the new cd up to see how Arnel Pineda did in the studio versus Steve Perry..
And wow was I disappointed Arnel has a incredible voice but they layed so much reverb on his voice it sounds amatuerish and like hes singing 47 feet behind the band in a barrel.
What were they thinking.. Other then that Arnel nailed alot of the original tunes pretty well.. Hes not a direct replacement like alot of people think but hes pretty dang close..
Good CD other then the vocal effects... Havent listened to the new original songs yet.. But im sure its not going to grab me as I only like Journey for about 7 songs. But had to pick up the album for the comparison reasons..
