Yeah thats a cool bassline.

Wiki said that Kevin Walker was the bassist on Futuresex/Lovesounds. Google said that Kevin Walker uses a Kevin Smith Design 70's Jazz bass and a EBS HD350 amp.

Pretty subtle effects use.. From what I can hear I think he got some envelope filter action going on and I'm pretty sure I hear some flanging there aswell. My guess is he uses a EBS BassIQ and the flanger on a EBS UniChorus.

That would be Ken Smith Design "KSD" 70's Jazz bass.
Also I know he played Low End Jazz on tour and currently plays Brubaker.

Who knows what he tracked it on. Could have been anything under the sun.
