Your right i'm a 17 year old and had no idea about this guy! I like it but i like his grooves better as in on the Kenny G I've heard.
Plus he has THE BEST MULLET EVER!!!! I love it

well those links were ages ago, wouldnt be surprised if they would be down by now...but, i know i sound arrogant, i just dont know why if someone can play "classical thump" they're automatically "good"

but honestly, that really doesnt sound like run to cover TO ME, and his left hand technique is pretty, standard....no pinky, he's really limiting himself, he can do better...i was the same way when i started playing (im not saying he's just started or anything) but i went and started to try play stu hamm stuff within 6 months of beginning to play bass without starting from the bottom and i beleive that it had held me back a bit without trying to improve technique and going straight to flash...

thats just my experience, thoughts, theory and opinion....if you dont agree with it, well, im sure you have your own and it works for you, this is what works for me
