This song has a pretty 80s feel it to it.

Did they redo it or is it an original song?

it's their own song. Very 80's feel, like if the Strokes had listened to more Duran Duran. The bass players lines do remind me a bit of John Taylors from time to time, and he has a great sound on that album.

Its original, they're just very faithful copycats.

I like the line: "Somebody told me you had a boyfriend, who looked like a girlfriend I had in February of last year"

That's it.

I bought the album.
reminds me of the psychedelic furs circa Forever now.

"Glamorous indie rock n'roll" is another standout bassline.

the bassline on "jenny was a friend of mine" is very similar to the Strokes' "is this it" bassline.

thumbs up, i'd say.

initially i was a bit disappointed that the other tracks weren't as Psychedelic furs-like as "somebody told me" and "mr brightside", but they've grown on me.

"smile like you mean it" is another standout track.
