Knockin' On Heaven's Door- GNR

Sign in to disble this ad
In the GNR song Knockin' On Heaven's Door, there is a phone number dialed at like 3:42. Does anyone know what the number is? I know each number on a phone keypad has a pitch, so one could figure it out, but I don't know how. Does anyone know the number or how I could figure it out?

Why do you want to know? It probably is a 555 number because like in film and television if you don't use 555 people try to call the characters... really...

because the tones sound familiar, like a number i know. it's not a 555 because the first 3 all sound different to me.

I knew that much, I just know there's a way to match tones to the numbers dialed. I figured someone here would know it.

Sorry, to figure out the number, I'd have to listen to the song. I refuse. Gag, pew, yuck.
