I wonder what the korn-evanescense connection is, last year i remember my friend showing me a video where evenescence covered thoughtless, now this--maybe just fans of each others music...or more?? lol |

They've probably gigged together, they come from the same scene. Evanesence have a Nu Metal vibe for sure, I'd say it's a "fans of each others work" deal.

I don't like the tone of it, but it drives me absolutely nuts that she slides up into every pitch rather than hitting it straight on. I can't hear anything but that when she's singing (also because she sings over everyone). I'm not a fan of her vibrato, either.
That would've been better without her!! |

I think fieldy would do well to expand his technique to things other than slap. I thought the song in this setting was all around horrible, not that the original is much better. I am not a fan of nu-metal at all. I am even less of a fan of nu-metal unplugged. Oh and John davis' voice is not among my favorites. Is that better or do I still sound like every other musician that is not a bass player? |

Stay cool brotha i was just trying to avoid this being a bash korn thread when its simply a discussion on that particular video. And I was NOT talking to you though the fact that i didnt single anyone out doesn't help i appologize. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
