Lamb of God - "Wrath"

Some of you may know this already so if you do pay no attention.

It just came to my attention that LOG is releasing a new cd "Wrath" on February 24th. Sacrament was a pretty ballsy CD so I'm eager to hear this new CD.

As the Palaces Burn and Ashes of the Wake were probably my favorite. Sacrament is hit or miss with me. Some days I really like it, some days I think "why the hell did they put this out." I really hope they put a lot of energy into their songs.

"Ashes of the Awake" is probably my favorite as well. I havent listened to "As the Palaces Burn" in ages I think I'm going to have to pop that one on in and give it a listen.

I think the production on Sacrament let it down. It doesn't have as many great tunes as Ashes, but it also loses out on production. That said, I do highly enjoy Sacrament and can't wait to see what they come out with next. Funnily enough, my favourite track of Sacrament is "Descending" which is the least metal of all of them!

Heard their new song on their myspace, sounds very cool and epic but not as 'riffy' as some of their other stuff. Could go either way for me, cause I love their riffs. Hope I like it, I'm seeing them a few weeks after they they release wrath in Australia, and if I don't like it and they play all the new songs... damn.

I like the album cover (assuming that the one in the vid is the actual cover...)

That said. LOG is one of the view of the NWOAHM (iirc the acronym) that I like. Definitely headbang worthy.

Personally "Now you've got something to die for" is my fave song. The vocals just seems to "grove" on that one IMHO.
