check out the one finger playing ! Bit sparse of live footage in middle picks up again at end though |

Watching the clip is great 'cos you can see that he rakes a lot and so must be getting very busy with his left hand on those arpeggios.
I'm just glad he never figured out you can use more than one finger on the right hand - it's already too hard to play with him using only one!!

Watching that video is almost mesmorizing to me, as is listening to the whole "What's Goin' On" CD. What an amazing musician he was - truly moving music. Jamerson's playing was a huge component in the emotion which bled from his recordings.
May James and Marvin rest in peace. What great music they gave us.
