Hi guys, I haven't been here for a while.
But here is a section for those who like to play or wants to play some latin music. Anyone with a good link for a video or audio and whant's to share please post it. Could be yours or any artist you like.

That's good Danny, you play really good. And that bass sounds awsome.
I play in church also, but right now I play the sax to give the chance to my friend to play the bass.

I'm not expert on Latin bass, but check out Esperanza Spalding's current CD. Alot of it has Latin and Brazilian grooves that she totally smokes on acoustic.

Question about the initial post que started this thread...What kinda bass is he playing in the first post and do you think, since it's a 4 stringer que he's tuned lowb...

Nice Tobias bass she got there.
The bass that Bobby Valentin use, is an Aspen 50 years old. And he use black nylon strings.

It can make your fretless sound like a Double bass.
