Si. Encontre los prietos aya en los late 70's. Desde aye, cambiando los strings es la primer thing que I do, soon as the bass llega a mi casa. Worn-in flats estaran ok, pero the tapes are demaciado smooth when me y el bajo channel thru mi Polytone 101.

Hi. Bobby Valentin currently uses an Ampeg Scroll Bass which I think is the 50yo Aspen you refer to. And he uses a Zeta bass. Both with flats, not nylon. Both sound like and EUB.

But we are refering to the white bass in the videos at the begining of the tread. That is his favorite bass. He uses many basses and he has a lot of skills playing them.

That was a very good playalong video. Looks like he did his homework. Nice tone and skills.
