well I think that the magic would have been better if you were actully there, but Plant seemed like he rarely hit the right notes - just sliding all over, they would have done well to completely rework the old tunes and write a few new ones, and Jason B....not a great choice for skill, Mike has as a much better vibe

Hopefully if they tour the cobwebs will get blown out

I saw Pant and Page as a 5 piece after being on tour with Uli Roth Satriani and Schenker for a month and they completely washed away everything that had amazed me from the G3 tour in the UK...

Not sure what you mean here. Jason Bonham, in a world of British Monarchy, has the birthright to play for Led Zeppelin. Charlie Jones on the otherhand is a bassist. John Paul Jones did a great job up there by himself I'm sure.

ah sorry Mike Lee then that played drums

on their 95 and 98 tours? anyway obviously Jason has the birthright
he just doesnt sound as good as Mike

yes reworkings - what do you think they did with the egyptian violin troupe, the hurdy gurgy, the indian clay pots, they even got the guitarist in from the Cure for a few tunes..that kind of goes into the reworking category
