Sign in to disble this ad
Well I was doing some youtube surfing and ended staring in amazement at this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbQz1...20last%20stand

I know it's from a DVD; what's it called?
Go ahead and reccomend other Led DVD's and live concert material while you're at it.

Thanks in advance

The '75 concert footage is incredible. I think their best tour. Although I enjoy seeing JPJ playing the Alembics, especially the 8 string.

the dvd's are totally mindblowing! they did an amazing job of cleaning up the old footage. it looks like it was shot last week. the earls court acoustic set is taken from a vantage point where you feel like you are sitting at their feet 2 feet in front of them. watching the dvds is almost a spiritual experience. you almost feel like you are there. so, GET IT!!!!

They are indeed incredible. Now, I'd like to watch the set with a good set of TB speakers and see how it is, then!

I purchased this Zep DVD exclusively because of the Knebworth 1979 concert footage. I was totally blown away. Not solely because of Jonesy, who is always amazing, but because of Jimmy. His playing on that concert is superb. (Not the horrible, drug-infested slopfest that many have come to associate with his live playing, thanks to "The Song Remains The Same".)

That disc package is a fantastic chronicle of their entire live career.

I don't know about that but from what i read, their last days were more drug infested then the early days. It' less joyfull flower power (weed) playing and more painful or sad (cocaine) playing at the end of the 70s.

I'd have to say that I'm gonna buy it to see Jimmy. I really love his playing, and the way he sounds in the few youtube clips from the DVD really blows me away.
