Pretty cool. I'm not really a "jam band" kind of guy, but it's fun in small doses.

Lettuce is 70's style funk in the way that they stick pretty much to the root and build momentum in the tune through horn ornamentation. I like it, but I also get enough of it pretty quickly. Generally I prefer a little more "story" in my music.

Figured I'd add to this thread- I've been a SoulLive fan for years, recently they played a double-bill at the State Theater in Falls Church, Va. I'd heard a little bit of Lettuce, had no idea Krasno and Neal played with them, needless to say it was great although the sound in the State left a lot to be desired. Believe it or not, too much bass - which is not something I often say - but it was just a boomy muddy mess; not much pitch definition for either Neal in SoulLive or Eric in Lettuce, but it was still a funky beautiful thing and Krasno killed it all night long.
