He sqeezed some great tone outa that set-up. Just listen to that funky part in Fool For The City, or just about anything of of Hogfat live!
The first time I heard them was on Don Kirshners Rock Concert in the 70's and have been a fan since.

They would play with Molly Hatchet and I think it was Kanasas.
Foghat truly smoked but bands every time. |

Man I hear ya mchildree! I use to live for Friday night's The Midnight Special and Kirshners Rock Concert I almost forgot about in concert.
Those were the day's when live performance's meant something,.
