How much bass was she playing then?
(Wasn't this the time frame when Byrnne had hired a "funky" bassist; seem to recall Tina playing a lot keyboards around this time).

METALLICA S&M is on DVD i highly recomend this Concert Jason really gets to do his thing and plays like a real musican. Just turn the bass up Metallica are known on recordings to put the bass in the back of the mix. You will love it.

Nah...on "Stop Making Sense", Tina plays bass on every tune except one (that I remember). That DVD is a great one, not only because the band and music are great, it's a good lesson in showmanship...the kind that doesn't require high-tech lighting, pyro, or walls of amplification. The way they staged that show was really cool, IMO.

Yessongs - Not the most visually stunning DVD and the sound quality isn't the greatest but it's still a great piece of work. I recently boutght this DVD after playing out my VHS copy.

I'll give another nod to Rising Low.

Pat Metheny Inaginary Day Live - Great DB work from Steve Rodby.

Genesis Way We Walk - Even though only a short time is dedicated to their older material. The live versions of their newer songs are quite good.

F.Y.I "Stop making sense"

Tina plays on all but about 4/5 songs
The disk has 19
Sometimes the stage lighting is to low to see but you can tell. She comes in after the first song which is Byne solo.
She plays the little 13 key keyboard ala' DEVO for the other songs. They are songs that have read low full notes. (Burning Down the House)

I must say when she does play it is well worth it, she helps to show that the TH were one of the funkiest bands of thier era and that she was a major part of the sound.

Another fun to watch video is Weird Al Live. Great bass, great musicians, most would be surprised at how much talent is in the band.
