The 1st 20 or so seconds Incubus Bassist Ben Kenney is playing a solo and I know he uses a jazz bass and however he is making his bass tone sound the way it does in the 1st 20 or so seconds is great. BUT DO ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT MAKES THIS TONE POSSIBLE

Reverb, J-Bass, Bridge pickup favored most likely. It's the live mix so it is also a good amp, I'm sure.

i didn't listen to the clip, but i know he also uses a line 6 pod as well...
