Sign in to disble this ad
hey, my band audio district just released its first demo

definitely could use input

http://hotfile.com/list/821572/8159d6b

highly recommend you choose the songs "rock so hard" and "whatever it takes" cuz it only lets you download two before it is all like doo da doo no more downloads for you for an hour

could definitely use honest input!

I Just listened to Rock so hard, really liked it, the only thing I would say needs changed is bump up the bass in the mix and turn down the guitar a notch. I like the volume of the guitar in the wah parts but I feel the rhythm parts need turned down just a little.

The bass has a nice funky groove to it but it gets lost behind the vocals and guitar

Just my 2 cents

steve

good tune, I like that it doesn't break out in to singing during the chourse parts( I hope that makes sense)

That is the worst file hosting site ever. Wait 60 seconds, enter a f'd up code you can't read, get it wrong, wait another 60 seconds. Dude, get on soundclick or something.

I listened to Rock Hard.

The recording sounds really tiny through studio monitors. I think the drums could be brought up, the guitar could be brought up and the bass could stay the same. It seems like there was a low cut run too aggressively on the guitar and drums too.
Vocals would probably have to be adjusted a bit depending on the above.

Anyway, nice song and I like your bass line.
