Little bit of drum and bass-y funk

Hello peeps

Just wanted to share some of the progress I've made with the old 4-finger technique - I've been using this on a couple of gigs recently - sparingly - this is with a drum loop with my new Epifani head and my EBS BassIQ doing a great job making wah-wah type noises.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers
Mike

You've certainly got the technique nailed, but I would have loved to hear you playing there without the effects! Will you be making any videos of your four finger playing as it is these days without the effects?

Sure Chris - I just wanted to to make one with the BassIQ as it never sounded this good with my old amp - i.e. it really reponds to different levels of attack with your fingers - but yeah I'll make one without it soon - and make it clearer so you can check out the various moves with the right hand.

I liked the bass-part. Perhaps a little bit too much muting which turned the fast parts into a flurry. What I'd like to see is a tighter and more elaborate beat. Bring it into proper DnB-territory! Granted, that might have something to do with the videorecording, rather...

Cheers man - I'll get some 'clean' stuff down soon so you can hear the lovely Epifani sound and the technique a bit clearer.

Thanks
