I like it! Sounds very good.
It would be cool to hear some more of the really deep notes too, though.

first click the free button, then when the next page loads you have to wait a few seconds, the countdown is on the page, and then type in the verification code and then click download

Good point. I also wanted to comment that.

Basically you have to jump through hoops.
Don't worry though, you don't have to sell your soul (nor anyone else's)

sorry ppl, that upload site was easier before, it didn't have that code validation sorcery a while back.

superbassman, here's the big boy:

I'll try and make some decent recordings of the sub-bass notes.

Very nice. Are you sure there's no guitar in there?

Very good!

BTW: isn't that a bathroom scale you have there (in the photo)? So you can tell us what it wheighs. (sp?)

Beautiful looking and sounding instrument, just to have it summed up.

Sounds cool - but when I see pics of basses that big it makes me wonder when they are going to start making them with extra large leg rests, IMO that's just too big, plus I'd get so much stick for using it on a gig... - nice little tune tho man.

woa dude, thx, coming from you that means a lot!

The bass is around 5.5 kilograms if I recall but I'll double check.

I do agree with you M Flynn, this bass is way big for my stature, I had not admited it here on Talkbass yet, but I didn't get really attached to the instrument, there is a comfort level that I had with the GT-7 that got lost when upgrading to 2 extra strings, suddenly it feels gigantic and burdensome, partly because of the big measures I asked on the instrument. I may get a different instrument in the close future with some specs reconsidered.
