Sign in to disble this ad
I have it tuned ADADA and just did this in Garagband with no eq

I added the percussion afterwards which is why there is some weird feel issues.

cool looped groove you've got there. I assume it's looped / layered?

Actually it is just 2 tracks overlayed not looped. I just played the main track with a metertroll and then later I added percussion which is kind of a stupid way to do it but It was just impromptu and not really a planned out excercise Obviously it would be better to have played off the percussion because it is not perfectly in meter. Thanks for the compliment!

I listened to your tracks at myspace and I would just like to say keep it up,the tracks are very nice,I really like the timbre of the music and the tone of the bass(es)added a very nice presence to the music overall.

you got my vote

Thank you! That means a lot coming from you man!

I wish I had more time to devote to solo stuff so I could spend some time composing whole pieces but OMNI ( my group ) takes up all of my time right now which isn't that bad

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!
I've listened to it like 5 times in a row already! Great tone, great style, great mood overall. I love it!
Quick question though....the higher parts sound fretless, but the low part sounds like a fretted. I know Hyperbasses are fretless, but I was just wondering how you got such a nice fat sound out of the slap? When I slap on my fretless it always ends up sounding aweful.......but then again, I don't have a Hyperbass. I suppose it's just the high-end electronics?
