What are some live concert DVDs you know of with some great bass playing?
I just stumbled upon some John Mayer live material with our hero Pino Palladino on the bass and would love to check out some live DVDs! |

| | | | Rising Low a film by Mike Gordon is an excellent example of great bass playing from guys like Boostsy, Billy Cox, Jack Bruce, John Entwistle, Les Claypool, Phil Lesh, and Willie Weeks just to name a few. Its not exactly a live show but it gets you up close and personal with all those greats. I highly recommend it.
The Best of the Jammy's Volume One is an awesome live show DVD with great playing from a bunch of different guys as well.

Harry Chapin's bass player, "Big John" Wallace, is also the man. I'd have to double check my Chapin videos to see if any of them showcase him well.
