Live Tickled PInk

I thought I'd share this with anyone interested - this is a trio I work with called Tickled Pink taken off the board at a gig we did at the Great American Ballpark (cincinnati) 09/09. It's a little long, but there is a bass solo - the tune is called Dance With the Devil written & sung by our drummer, Bam Powell. The bass is a fretless fender jazz special.

Way cool, well done!

Great tune, great vocals, in fact the whole band sounds terrific.

Sounds like a Neville Bros groove. Put a horn section on there and it's dangerous.

Sick solo, but I think I like the sound of your bass without the effects.

You have a great band, my compliments and keep it up!

Thanks, bro - the effects sound a lot nicer through my amp, but it wasn't miced for this set...I'm not crazy about them dry off the line either. Life is a series of compromises.

I mentioned your Neville Bros. comparison to Bam today - he took that as an extreme compliment.

Any other thoughts?

Bueller?

Great stuff Bob! Bam is something else to play that groove and sing at the same time.

All you other readers, check out Bob's other stuff, in the Psychodots, and The Bears. All fabulous!
