Hey all
I'm working with a great solo artist/producer called Niraj Chag, here's a video of our first big gig here in London last weekend, it's good stuff, there are plenty of good bass lines in the other stuff we do, this tune is a bit tribal, but you get the idea, and it's a really talented band, and that's Niraj on keys. Let me know what you think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Lvb1IvYxHQ
Cheers

The vocalists are fun to look at and they obviously can sing.
The rap was a little abrasive but, I'm not a real fanboy of that style.
I'd be interested in hearing a little more band and a little less of that.

I spoke to Niraj about the mix and he assured me he really tried to beef up the bottom end but had very little to work with...
Nevermind, the rest of the set will hopefully have a better mix of bass as this track doen't show off the full range of the band, i.e. lots of nice parts for bass, guitar and the vocals are only 'rappy' on this track, the girls really do sing beautifully on the other stuff.
Oh well thanks for the feedback, I'm sure you guys would have enjoyed the gig were you there in the venue
Cheers

Mx | Yeah, I did listen with headphone (actually the only way I listen to anything on my laptop) and I still could barely hear you. It is there but it's way down in the mix. But knowing your playing already, I wouldn't be surprised that the playing was excellent! |

Nothing wrong with them and I always try and play for the tune...
