Live Video of myself in 2005 All Along The Watchtower (Larry Graham Wannabe content)

So I found a video of myself playing about 5 years ago at a friend's graduation party and I thought, why not share it? He's on keys/vocals. This was back in the day before I switched to all passive guitars, Marshall and Ampeg tube amps, hornless cabs, and to always running a distorted sound (for those of you that don't know me on here). In short, I was not so different from any Guitar Center kid (although at that time I don't know if I'd ever even been to a Guitar Center).

Check it out!

You have to admit, it's pretty bad when even Jimi gets the Larry Graham treatment, hahaha!

If anyone has anything to say, good or bad, please share! I have my own way of reflecting upon that time in my evolution as a musician, but if you have something you could say you might help me look at that era of myself in a different light. Even if you want to critique the tone or performance, I'm all ears.

The solo does not fit with the song whatsoever, but the slap bass part underneath everything else sounds pretty cool; sort of a driving power underneath the swirling madness, if you will. Cool interpretation of a classic. I liek the singer's voice, too.

That was a nice tone, whether it fit or not.

Dogs love bass for some reason.

I thought that went pretty well considering.

Thanks guys. I actually go back to fingerstyle for the rest of the song, but I also just start hitting my strings open handed. But I don't thumb the rest of the song, I don't think.

The tone, I suppose you'd be surprised, is just a Fender MIM Jazz through a Fender Rumble 100. Tone is in the hands I guess.
