doesn't do anything for me... while it may be technically competent, it doesn't groove... there's no point to the solo... it's just a few slap "phrases" slung together...

She's one of my Youtube faves. Knock her all you want - she knows how to stay in the pocket.

I love Lydia.

Especially her voice. The fact that she can sing so sweetly while grooving so hard is incredible.

She has the strangest way of slapping. Something about it just sounds odd to me. Pretty cool though.

She's an old school funk player from Europe (Netherlands). She has a very youthful appearance but she's been around for a while. She put out a cd in the mid '80's.

Long slender fingers, pink ballz a-bouncing, holding the groove, dancing with her voice... whats not to like.. heres my favorite,

Lydia's doing "Be Yourself"

Catch a groove in that one Maniac?? Perttiest dang funk face I did ever see, whoopps, well Miss Divinity has a pretty one too!

Being a terminal heterosexual ( my body still thinks its 18 in full hormonal rage) ) , and digging' pie more than life itself , I'm smitten.

I don't like to listen to people have fun, I like to listen to music. Not her best vid, I think she's very talented, but I agree that this isn't that impressive. But then again, I dislike 90% of bass solos. When she plays in the context of a song, it's always awesome.
