Looking for a cool song about "Barriers"....

Sign in to disble this ad
Let me explain, I need a cool song (to cover) about the breaking down of barriers (think racial barriers, social, gender, etc) or one that simply point out that these barriers exist.

We are using this for a large group meeting and we are discussing this very topic...it is cool to have a song that either points us in the right direction or makes us aware of the problem.

Thanks, Marc

you might want to explain a little better, I'm not really sure what you're looking for. But if you're looking for a song to perform that is bass-centric. "justice" by victor wooten comes to mind. It discusses various social instances of injustice and how those injustices spring from race.

Another song that comes to mind is "don't call me ******, whitey" by sly and the family stone.

Thanks, to answer your question: the song doesn't need to be bass-centric, just a good song to cover! Thanks, Marc

My personal favorite is Living Colour's "Funny Vibe" - good stuff.
