looking for a Jaco video

Sign in to disble this ad
About a year ago, I saw a youtube vid of one of his solos. It was an outdoor show, and he did a lot of his trademark sampling and overdubs in that solo, and at the end he dropped the bass and did somekind of robot/moonwalk off the stage.. I think this pic is from that show:

anyone have a link to it?

It may be Joni Mitchell's "Shadows & Light" DVD.

BTW, the video just posted is from Shadows & Light...

Its one of my favorite Jaco videos.

In a only slightly related note, here's a video of Maynard Ferguson's band playing Birdland. I can't say that I'm familiar with him, but check out what the mallet player is playing thirty seconds in. Pretty sweet.

Excellent find. Soul, proper execution and effects. This guy was awesome.
