Does anyone know of any really good low pitched frettless grooving? Most of the frettless stuff i find is mostly upper octave solo bass stuff.

Rick Danko, Christian McBride, Jack Bruce, Gary Willis, Richard Bona (with pat metheny, especially bright size life), PINO PALLADINO, Squarepusher, come to mind.

Edit: Shakin-Slim gets it, too.
