I see his fingers movin' but it's just one gooey tone to me - but then again I don't really get into this style.
Seems like he's just overwhelming the soundcard in his 'puter.
If this was on a CD - I'd really have a hard time trying to want to buy it.
PS: I've got a righteous 7.1 sound system on this 'puter - so it's not a bad reproduction on my side.
If he posted it like this - it must be OK to him.

| | | | He plays very basic stuff. Good playing for newbie whose just started to get the hang of it. Nothing spoectaculiar or indicating pro level to me yet. Most dedicated first month playing newbies can do that. Tones not bad listening thru sennheisser HD380 pro headphones.

If that blows your mind don't watch this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVl39LBZGMw
I agree there is nothing amazing about the playing. He's just playing octaves...over ..and over..and over and over and over again.

No music there at all. Sounds like a 'John Entwistle Shreds' video. Sad really. He could really play in his prime. I miss him. |

| | | | 5string5fingers...> That is a nice JE vid clip.
Ripping doesnt have too mean playing real fast. It can also include dramatic punctuation stuff that really captures the groove and spices it up. Part of what makes JE so good is that not only can he do the million notes a second thing well. he also uses expression, punctuation, and all that other stuff to.

Well i just think that he didnt take much time setting up a good sound for the p.c but i can hear that nice warm distortion in the mix.I guess the first clip wasnt that hard to play. But this one seems a little more technical, though im very sure most on here could do it easy.Again its Muse but it is a little repeatative. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_LLx...eature=related |

MUSE ~ a verb (used without object)
1. to think or meditate in silence, as on some subject.
2. Archaic . to gaze meditatively or wonderingly.
–verb (used with object)
3. to meditate on.
4. to comment thoughtfully or ruminate upon.
| I think this 'muse' misses as a verb or as a thought process. Certainly not quiet meditation either.
Perhaps I need more museical immersion. |

And not in a good way, the timing is horrible - it's supposed to have a real bouncy feel to it but he's just riding it out like a regular ol' rock song.

TB is a good place for any & everything.
The sound thats coming through the speakers is not good either.I bet he has a better sound while in the room. |

Funny thing (for someone who has never seen this beauty before)
the first thing I thought when i saw the roman numerals was "wow that's like a tab-addicts dream bass"
